Wednesday’s word origin was for jiggery-pokery
Thursday’s etymology was for lotus and
Friday’s word root was for the word ode

Note that Thursday’s word was posted not on the podictionary website, but instead is the debut episode to be carried at Oxford University Press blog. Thursday podictionary episodes will be at OUPblog for the foreseeable future.
